“The aim of this Spotify collaboration was to support the launch of our new Project Rock apparel by bringing Dwayne’s fans as close an encounter as possible to their personal Iron Paradise training session,” said Maya Lasry, Chief Marketing Officer of Seven Bucks Businesses, Johnson’s production company with partner Dany Garcia. “Working out is not only a priority for Dwayne, it’s a must. His gear, facilities, music, and inspiration are all important when it comes to working, and we wanted to give the immersive experience to customers.”

Johnson will exchange motivational notes and shoutouts in the playlist, motivating his fans to step on in the face of setbacks.

“The focus of this particular launch is ‘Change Through Practice,’ which has been difficult throughout this period for many people to get back to their daily schedule, and they could use constructive reinforcement when they adapt to their new standard,” Lasry said. “If they head back to their gym, travel a social distance, or work from home, they have Dwayne by their side—with his voice practically in their ear—helping to propel and inspire them. The playlist is intended to encourage them to choose success in and out of the gym, considering the adversity that we’re currently experiencing.”
